Features & Technical Specifications
The kit comes equipped with a Z980 filter, featuring water resistant silicone coated filter media for maximum efficiency, life, and flow.
- Filtration Rating: 10-micron (Nominal at 99% efficiency) – efficient at catching microbial bugs, dirt, and other particles.
- Universal Application: Ideal solution for Inboard & Outboard engine applications.
- Fuel Compatibility: Suitable for diesel, petrol, and pre-mix fuels.
- Flexibility: Can be the only filter fitted or mounted downstream/before the existing fuel filter.
- Connector Size: Kit includes 10mm connectors. If 12mm connectors are required, please order reference RFA232.
Best Practices for Fitment
Location: The Fuel Water Separator is best installed within the engine bay. This utilizes the space and protection offered underneath the bonnet while allowing for easy access when inspecting and draining the water trap.
Series Installation: Designed to be fitted as a series installation (in-line with the OEM fuel filter). In this setup, fuel passes through the Fuel Water Separator first, then the OEM fuel filter, before reaching fuel delivery components. This ensures only clean fuel reaches the engine.
